Parkinson's is one of the most common diseases crippling the brain, and it is still incurable. Parkinson disease is the second most common disorder that causes a progressive loss of function of neurons and muscle and it is incurable A key challenge is that researchers today don’t have enough data to experiment with. Intel is working together with the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research to collect and analyse data through wearables. A smart watch paired with a mobile app can measure activity level, tremor, gait detection and sleeping patterns of the user. The hope is that this data will lead to a cure for the disease. Download this report to find out how wearables can help improve health research.
